1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the VFBoats Experts website (the "Site"), which provides information about the technical inspection of pleasure boats in any country and makes it easy to arrange it with a local marine expert. Accessing and using the Site implies acceptance of these terms.
2. Nature of the service
VFBoats acts as a channel for information and coordination between you and an independent marine expert where the boat is located. The Site does not sell or charge for the inspection online: the form only collects the boat and contact details to arrange the inspection. The cost, date and scope of each inspection are confirmed separately before the visit and prevail over any general description published on the Site. The report reflects the expert's technical opinion on the condition of the boat at the time of the inspection and is not a guarantee about it; the decision to buy is always yours.
3. Published information
The information on the remote inspection, the technical inspection and the frequently asked questions shown on the Site is general and for information purposes only. We make reasonable efforts to keep it up to date, but it may not reflect the applicable regulations in every case. We recommend that you always confirm the full details of your case with us before going ahead.
4. Inspection and contact forms
The inspection form and the contact form are intended for requesting the arrangement of an inspection or related information. By submitting them, you agree that the details provided (boat and seller details, name, email, phone and message) will be used to arrange the inspection and answer your enquiry, as described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting the form does not oblige you to hire the inspection: the cost is confirmed before the visit is arranged.
5. Intellectual property
The texts, images, trademarks and other content of the Site belong to VFBoats or its licensors and are protected by the applicable intellectual property laws. Reproducing them in whole or in part without prior authorisation is not permitted.
6. Third-party links and services
The Site may refer or link to sellers, brokers, marine experts and other third-party services that have their own terms and policies. VFBoats is not responsible for the content or operation of those external services, although it strives to work with reliable providers.
7. Limitation of liability
VFBoats does not guarantee that the Site will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Site, except where such liability cannot be legally excluded.
